GHS Labels

The UN Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of classification and labeling of chemicals is used to:

  • enhance the protection of human health and the environment by providing an international system for hazard communication
  • provide a recognized framework for countries without a system
  • reduce the need for testing and evaluation of chemicals
  • facilitate international trade in chemicals whose hazards have been properly assessed and identified on an international basis

Our GHS Labels use the standard GHS pictograms to depict the recommended measures that should be taken to minimize or prevent adverse effects resulting from exposure to a hazardous product. The hazcom labels also instruct users how to minimize improper storage or handling of a hazardous product. The pictogram symbols on the GHS Labels are printed on red framed, 2" x 2" paper labels. Or let us personalize your 10" x 6" GHS Label with your signal words and hazard and precautionary statements, plus 1-3 pictograms
