ATA 300 is a specification that establishes the airline transport industry's reqirements for the design, development and procurement of effective packaging supplies and equipment shipped to a customer airline. These requirements also serve as the standards for shipping cases acceptable for air transport. The tests involved with becoming ATA 300 compliant are conducted to ascertain if a shipping case will withstand the rigors of being shipped a minimum of 100 times. ATA 300 also specifies that the case will have recessed handles that will not break during transit.
Labelmaster offers two ATA 300 compliant shipping cases: the virtually indestructible ATA 300 Category 1 All Aluminum Cylinder Case and the more affordable, Spec DOT31FP Oxygen Generator Corrugated Shipping Box. Both products meet the critical requirements for all U.S. Commercial Airlines carrying oxygen cylinders and oxygen generators mandated by 49 CFR 173.168 for reusable shipping containers as well as the flame and heat penetration requirements set forth in 49 CFR 173.168. All container labels, DG labels and airline markings are incorporated on each container.
Our exceptionally durable, all aluminum cylinder case with user-friendly side-load design is available in 5 sizes. The DOT31FP corrugated shipping containers are available in 6 sizes that provide a low-cost solution for cargo air shipment of oxygen generators.
