Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air

ICAO’s Technical Instructions have been amended to align them more closely with the latest revised edition of the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods. This edition incorporates all changes resulting from the amendments.

New Edition includes:

• General principles defined in greater detail to clarify the intent of the requirements
• Important changes in packing instructions for explosives
• Changes in training requirements for hazmat employees
• Revised ID numbers
• New recordkeeping requirements
• Changes in regulations affecting the transport of diagnostic specimens
