OSHA-approved emergency eye wash stations are needed in the workplace for adequate eye protection for workers on the job. The ANSI Z358.1-2004 Standards set forth guidelines to follow for the proper location and placement of eye wash stations.
Vertical- or Horizontal-Mount Emergency Showers provide a large 20" diameter spray for complete body drenching. Stainless steel actuating arm and pull rod activate the 1" IPS chrome-plated, brass stay-open ball valve. The showers deliver 30 gpm at 30 psi. 1" IPS water supply inlet. Emergency Showers have a 10" safety orange, ABS plastic shower head and hot-dipped, galvanized steel pipes and fittings. Horizontal-Mount Emergency Shower has an orange ABS plastic elbow. Meets ANSI Z358.1.
