The self-contained Telatemp Transit Thermometers are factory calibrated to certified NIST traceable accuracy of ±2°F or ±1.1°C full range. Each low cost, disposable Transit Thermometer is designed to record temperature conditions of a single trip. The device continuously records on a strip chart with selected chart run times of 10, 40, 75 or 90 days.
Thermometers use a state-of-the-art battery which lasts for 12 months. A one-step trip information entry system provides the identical trip data to both shipper and receiver. At the conclusion of a trip, the receiver removes the chart and reads it for any evidence of temperature damage.
