Due to their volatile nature, lithium batteries pose a serious fire hazard if they are damaged or if they short circuit during transportation.
These Lithium Battery Shippers may be used to ship prototype lithium batteries. Consult all applicable regulations, Competent Authority Approvals, or Special Permits. The battery packagings include a corrugated box and a, 8-, or 10-gallon steel drum. Anti-static BUBBLE WRAP® must be used as cushioning for the batteries and is sold separately.
