Product Overview

This Web-based training program is designed to familiarize users with A.I.R. Shipper™ and to enable users to prepare dangerous goods shipments for air transport safely and effectively. This A.I.R. Shipper™ web-based training program provides users with the following:

• Familiarizes user with A.I.R. Shipper™, it’s construction and relationship to other regulatory references
• Enables user to select an appropriate basic description and identify the required marks, labels and packaging for a dangerous goods shipment intended for transport by air
• Provides user with useful tools, checklists and templates for preparing dangerous goods shipping papers and other required documentation
• Outlines and describes the shipper’s and airline’s responsibilities with respect to hazard communication, handling, loading, stowage and segregation of dangerous goods
• Describes the basic requirements for the preparation and transport of radioactive materials shipment by air
• Provides an effective tool for measuring comprehension of the training material through learning assessments
• Provides a Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of course of instruction

The A.I.R. Shipper™ web-based training program is divided into 10 separate modules, which include the Introduction and Assessment for Credit. This program meets the DOT hazardous materials transportation training requirements for General Awareness and can satisfy some Function-Specific (Air Transportation) requirements.One-year license includes one free standard bound copy of A.I.R. Shipper™.
