Vice President, Emeritus
Jeanne Zmich, Vice President, Emeritus, oversaw Labelmaster's dangerous goods regulations for more than 40 years. She represented Labelmaster at the Council on the Safe Transport of Hazardous Materials, where she served on its board of directors. Jeanne also managed Labelmaster’s environmental and safety programs for state and regulatory compliance. She was part of the editorial development team for Labelmaster’s “Air International Regulations for Shippers of Dangerous Goods” publication, and was on the development team for books and products for compliance with OSHA’s Hazcom/GHS Standard.
Jeanne achieved a number of milestones during her four decades at Labelmaster. She researched and co-authored a two-volume set on compliance with the original OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, the first commercially available product to help employers comply with that Standard and a publication accepted into the Library of Congress. Jeanne coordinated the program to collaborate with the National Paint and Coatings Association (now ACC) to produce and develop the first HMIS labeling system. She was the company’s first books and programs products manager and worked with the Labelmaster team to introduce the EARLY CFR concept and the AIR Shipper book.
