Peggi Boyd

Current Responsibilities

Peggi Boyd, Corporate Compliance Officer, has a wide variety of responsibilities at Labelmaster. Peggi leads the human resources and regulatory research departments and directs the company’s ISO, quality management, safety and environmental compliance functions.

Experience

Peggi’s career at Labelmaster and its sister companies has spanned more than 25 years. In that time, she has been deeply involved in the recruitment of key executives and other valuable professionals and played major roles in corporate regulatory compliance, organizational development, human resources, ISO implementation and corporate ethics and culture. Peggi’s in-depth knowledge of the company and industry has enabled her to contribute to product development, operations management and business development at the company. Prior to joining Labelmaster, Peggi was communications specialist at the non-profit organization The National Safe Workplace (no longer in existence).

Education and Affiliations

Peggi has a master’s degree in public administration from Roosevelt University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Drake University. She has served on the executive committee of the Chicago Workforce Board for more than 10 years and co-chaired its Continuous Improvement & Accountability and Service Delivery Committees, respectively. Peggi is active in the Dangerous Goods Advisory Council, Society for Chemical Hazard Communication, Peterson/Pulaski Business and Industrial Council as well as human resource associations locally and nationally. She supports Chicago neighborhoods with her 15-plus years on the Albany Park Community Center Governance Board and currently serves as its board chairman.
