Rhonda Jessop has been working in the field of dangerous goods and training for over 18 years. She started her cargo career with FedEx Express, Canada in 1994, working both in ramp operations and training divisions. Here she was responsible for all dangerous goods operations and training for Eastern Canada.
Rhonda joined IATA in 1999 as a manager in the Training and Development Institute, where she was responsible for a portfolio of over 50 diverse airline operations and safety courses. She moved to the Cargo and Regulatory Affairs division as Manager, Dangerous Goods and Training Standards in 2003. In this role she was one of the authors of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations as well as other dangerous goods technical publications. These included the IATA training book series. She was also Secretary to the IATA Dangerous Goods Training Task Force and acted as an industry advisor to the IATA representative on the ICAO Dangerous Goods Panel.
Rhonda joined Labelmaster in 2007 as Manager, International Training Projects and in this capacity was responsible for a multitude of diverse multi-model training projects. In her current role as Senior Advisor, Learning and Development, Rhonda works with clients to determine training needs and identify gaps in their training. Rhonda holds both a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Education degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
