Lithium Batteries Forbidden for Transport Labels
Help stay in compliance and ensure the safe transport of your lithium battery shipments with these Lithium Battery Forbidden Markings. These markings are required by the DOT or USPS on certain shipments of lithium batteries to indicate they are not permitted to be loaded aboard passenger aircraft. Available in different materials and sizes, these labels are sold per roll of 500.
Note: Effective March 6, 2019, the DOT Lithium Ion Battery Markings can help meet the DOT PHMSA Interim Final Rule harmonizing the 49 CFR with the ICAO Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air. Please be sure to check out our DOT PHMSA Lithium Battery Interim Final Rule (IFR) blog post for more information.
