TDG Canada General Awareness Online Training

If you ship dangerous goods in Canada, you must comply with Transport Canada’s Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, or TDGR. The TDGR requires that employees involved in shipping and handling dangerous goods receive training (TDGR Part 6). This interactive online course is designed as an initial or re-fresher general awareness program for individuals who ship, receive, prepare or offer for transport a dangerous goods.

You will experience:

• A fully interactive environment, with built-in learning checks and a final exam.
• A convenient online platform, allowing you to stop at any point and return later to where you left off.
• Easy record-keeping and a certificate of completion, which is valid for three years from the date you successfully complete the course. The certificate will be saved in your online account and can be e-mailed, downloaded or printed.
• Access to the course for a ninety day period (3 months) to complete your training

The estimated average time needed to complete this course ranges from 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours, however, the time needed may vary by student.

It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure their employees are trained commensurate with their responsibilities and that they may need additional training.
