Unlike other generic courses, our program goes beyond just delivering information. Instead, you'll encounter a range of realistic and engaging hazmat-related scenarios that will test your understanding and decision-making skills. You'll find yourself identifying and handling hazmat items scattered throughout a breakroom, correctly labeling various packages revealed when a train pulls up, and even placing marks and labels on an unmarked package at a packaging station.

Our course also includes identifying safety and security risks throughout the warehouse, some obvious and others more subtle, giving you a comprehensive understanding of the hazards of working with hazardous materials.

Fully compliant with the U.S. Department of Transportation's regulations for general awareness training, this course covers all the necessary topics required by 49 CFR Part 172.704(a)(1) and is ideal for both initial and recurrent training. In just 1.5 to 2.5 hours, you'll get a comprehensive understanding of hazardous materials and dangerous goods, the transport chain, general packing requirements, and emergency response, safety and security awareness.

Our convenient online platform allows you to stop at any point and return later to where you left off. Plus, you'll get easy record-keeping and a certificate of completion that's valid for three years from the date you successfully complete the course. The certificate can be e-mailed, downloaded or printed, and will be saved in your online account.
