This interactive Spanish online hazmat course is always up-to-date with the latest regulations and meets the US DOT training requirements for individuals who perform or direct the functions of packaging, marking, labeling, or loading packages containing excepted lithium batteries for shipment by highway, rail, air or vessel. In about 2-3 hours, you will cover:
- Lithium battery general awareness
- Regulations relevant to shipping lithium batteries
- The shipper’s responsibilities
- Straightforward, easy to follow guidelines for how to identify which batteries are excepted
- How to pack, mark and label excepted lithium battery shipments
You will experience:
- A fully interactive environment, with built-in learning checks and a final exam.
- A convenient online platform, allowing you to stop at any point and return later to where you left off.
- Easy record-keeping and a certificate of completion, which is valid for two years from the date you successfully completed the course. This certificate will be saved in your online account and can be e-mailed, downloaded or printed.
- Access to the course for a ninety-day period to complete your training.
If you ship any other hazardous material products, you may need additional training. It is the responsibility of your employer to determine what training is required.
You will receive your access link along with your log-in credentials within approximately 2 hours of your purchase. Each user must have a valid email address in order to receive their credentials. Invalid credit card info, missing user info, or freight quote requirements for other items on your order will delay training activation.
Although not required, it is strongly recommended that you have a copy of the regulations applicable to your specific shipping needs to maximize your learning experience ( i.e. IATA, 49 CFR, IMDG or ADR).
If you are placing this order on behalf of another user, or are placing an order for multiple users, please let us know the name(s) of the users (so that the certificates are accurate). You may email trainingsupport@labelmaster.com or call 800.621.5808.FAQs
