These fully assembled DOT-SP 9168 Special Permit Packaging kits can be used to ship Packing Groups I, II or III materials by all modes of transport (see Special Permit for details). The DOT-SP 9168 kits carry an exemption that allows you to ship Hazard Classes 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 domestically without using a hazard class label.

The exemption packages can be used to ship solids or liquid materials with a specific gravity of 2.0 or less.
