The Lithium Battery Mark is required on some packages carrying lithium ion or lithium metal batteries. These marks have space to manually designate the UN number(s) of the lithium battery or batteries you are shipping and space to add a telephone number for additional information. Please Note: A UN number(s) and telephone information is required by the regulations prior to use in transport. This label also includes a tab extension offering a convenient solution to help meet the marking requirements on lithium battery packages. With the recent changes in lithium battery shipping regulations, additional information may be required on packages that is not allowed to appear within the red hatch boundary of the mark itself. These labels have the 120mm x 110mm mark with space to designate the UN number of the lithium battery you are shipping and a telephone number for additional information, as required by the regulations. There is also an included tab attached below the mark with space to provide additional information, (ex: ICAO/IATA Section II Packing Instruction No., proper shipping name, etc.). The overall size of the label is 126mm x 140mm. These Lithium Battery Marks with a tab are constructed of semi-gloss paper and sold in rolls of 500.
